We went to Night Safari for this special day, which people spend lots of money on costumes and make-up.
The four of us attended an event, which i will never do it again, even if it is free and comes with dinner. Never. I foresee myself getting funny calls after this event. I'm so thick.
My new found friend from the event.
Met Eileen after my first tram ride.
Luckily she didn't join.
I feel kind of cheated when the event promised a Halloween tram ride but it turned out to be a normal tram ride without the "terrors". Thus, we had to queue for about half an hour before boarding the "Night Terror". Our waiting time was minimised to only 30 minutes because we had the event pass that allowed us to cut queue. The organisers told me that the exact queue extends all the way to the zebra crossing out Night Safari. That is about 2km. A really long wait for them. The queue.
Loads of time for photo-taking.
Most of the journey was introduction of the animals and it's only right at the end that we "come across" the terrors. Not really frightening except that Gaston was shaking me, Lester was shouting in a scary/ghostly way and Kerr was touching my head as if there was a ghost doing it.
Somehow i think the animals were scarier than the "terrors". The barriers between the tram pathway and the animals were very close or there isn't any barrier at all. We could touch the animals if we reach out as they were standing or sitting close to the tram pathway. I saw a rodent, that looks like a hamster, just that it is a giant hamster that can weighs up to 69kg. Imagine a giant hamster on your lap when you are in the tram. Or the elephants and rhinoceros charging at you. Doomed.
The "terror" that doesn't scare but stare.
