I'm getting sick of this. How hard is it for you to contact me once in a while to brighten up my day? It's just a simple call or sms, do you always have to wait for me to do that? It seems to me that your friends are a whole lot of important people to you.

Arranged to meet up with you today, but i kind of too engrossed with my work today to call you to confirm the timing. At the end of the day which i mean really late for working hours, there isn't any call or sms from you. None at all.

Called you and asked you to pick me up but you gave me the "act blur" tone again. "Huh???" What the fuck. I fell and twisted my ankle. Can you sense that i'm really persistent to get you to pick me up?

"I'm going to Hougang to pick my friend up, to study." That's what you said when i called you.

"Cause i'm not feeling well and have been sleeping the whole day." That's what you texted when i asked you why you didn't call me.

You could go out at night to pick your friend up to study when you are not feeling well. Well, fuck it.

Where's the care and concern? Do i treat you like that?

It's not worth it anymore. Fuck.

What's the point of holding on.

The one who always make it a point to pick me up from work when i'm meeting him. The one who is able to stand my constant whining. The one who is crazy about his baby pillows. Haha.

Celebrated Yanru's birthday on 22 April instead of her actual birthday because Yours Truly got to work on Saturday. My work has kind of messed up the plans. Sorry!

Happy Birthday, dear girl!

Went out with the big fellow who hasn't gone mad with my daily whining. Supposed to celebrate Kerr's birthday but it's past 12 when we met him and the rest. Kerr was constantly grumbling that i didn't wish him "Happy Birthday" or "Happy Belated Birthday", and not even a call or sms. Muahahaha. I don't follow the norm, i will be that bitch who didn't wish you "Happy Birthday". lol.


This is what i had for supper which i think the portion they served is enough for my lunch and dinner.

Today is my convocation day. I missed it.

I have been very occupied with work. Lots of stuff to learn and we are undergoing a mass shifting process (got to do packing at the same time). For me, it's trying to make sense of what i have learnt and trying to keep up. Jia you for me!

Cabbing is like part of my job ever since i have started work. I took cab twice since Monday and i'm still counting. Went to 3 different sites today. A background interview in the morning, back to office for a test and to offsite for a course.

Received quite a number of sms in early afternoon from a number of people whom i have not contacted since exams ended. "What time are you coming?", "Where are you sitting?" blah blah blah. That's the only time they remember me. One of them is a friend whom my another friend and i have been asking her out for quite some time and there are always excuses when we try to ask her out. Or there will be last minute cancellation.

Oh well, I have given up asking you out.

Had dinner at Din Tai Fung with Gaston and Reuben. Been craving for xiao long baos for a quite some time. Asked Gaston to google for some recommended xiao long baos and i saw "small dragon paos" appearing on the computer screen. The big fellow trying to be funny.

Just an update of what's going on in my life.

I've quit my job and joined another new company after 2 days of rest. Now i wished that I have taken a longer break. It's weird that i know that i'll be in this rat race for at least 40 years and i'm dying to be in this race. Felt pretty guilty when i was typing my resignation letter, but absolutely delighted when i handed it to my boss. The department was going through a transition process and i was involved in training the new staff. I kind of left them to fend for themselves after 2 days of training. The handover was more of like making sure that everything is correct as per the day i left and leaving them to figure out what's going on after that which i feel it's a little unresponsible for me to do that. I hope that my colleague is coping well with all their queries.

"Expected but disappointed". 2 people has said this to me. This sentence has been haunting me for quite a while and i haven't got over it yet. Guilt.

Speaking of my new job, i forsee myself working late on most days. More to be updated.

Been meeting boyfriend often these days and the small little things that he does really touches my heart. =)

Met Shimin for dinner after her work. I haven't been meeting her for the longest time; her exams are coming soon. That's me playing with her birthday present. I've actually forgotten to wish her happy birthday on her big day. I'm going to get karma.


We were supposed to dine at Elizabeth Hotel, but both of us got lost for about an hour and i was already starving by then, so i kind of forced her to eat something else. I think she's pretty disappointed. Oh well, another time.

A dinner with BB sometime back. I was running slight fever on that day, kind of wanted to cancel the meet up. Called the fellow and he sounded very enthu about it, thus, i decided against postponing the dinner to another day.

Went to the place where Jacinta had brought us before. The ambience is still as nice, but the babies sort of ruin it. All the yelling and crying, in a sort of fine-dining place. Managed to go to the secret place which BB refused to tell me the other time. A little overcrowded on that day though.

I guess i spoilt the whole day with my i-want-to-go-home-and-sleep face. Oh well, at least BB was kind enough and didn't say anything about it.

Met the girls for lunch today. Lots of things to update each other. Did some shopping and followed them to Serangoon Broadway to get the convocation gown.


I'm not going for my convocation. Can't take leave from my new job. I'm going to miss it.


I thought i won't be so bothered that i can't go for the convocation. But when i see them trying the robe, i was kind of envious and very disappointed. I can't go for my convocation. A sacrifice i'm going to make for my new job. It better be worth it.

Hear some news today. I know it hurts badly. Very badly. Don't give a damn about others' expectations. They don't know what you are going through. It's hard to explain. I know. Stay happy. It will take quite a while but eventually, you will get through.

Met up with Gaston for dinner and the rest for Clash of the Titans in the night.


The big fellow had craving for chicken rice. Those fried stuff is actually doughstick. He has a liking for fried stuff.


I had dinner at 6.30pm and supper at 10.30pm. Going to get fat soon. Anyway, don't order Lasagne at TCC. They serve pathetically small portion.


The show was pretty fine, lots of action to keep me awake. I've just realised that i've been going for midnight shows for the last few movies and they are always full house.
