I'm very sure that i'm a Daddy's girl. Managed to persuade him to bring the whole family to River Hangbao after reunion dinner even though the displays there are always the same. A little whining helps.

Can you make a guess what are they made of?


Spoons! Thousands of porcelain spoons! I bet the glue they use are really tough. Was very tempted to remove a spoon from the display and see what will happen.


As usual, there are displays of the 12 chinese zodiac signs. It's actually quite hard to take photos with/of them when everyone is walking past while i'm shooting. Some genuinely didn't know whereas the others were very persistent to walk the path in front of me even though they see me with a camera and trying to take some photos. Does Singapore need a campaign on that?


Another dragon, but this is made of candy. Haw and honey. I could smell it when i was taking a photo of it. Smells like burnt sugar. When i was a little girl, my grandpa used to buy me "ma ya tang" (maltose), the candy which looks like honey and was eaten on a disposable chopstick. There was a long queue for the candy and Yours Truly didn't like the idea of queueing, so no chance to relive the memories.


Got a call from Gaston when i was in the car. He said he wanted to pass me some stuff and will be waiting for me below my house. Couldn't recognise him when i was walking back, that fellow was driving another car and he was so well-dressed; he even styled his hair. Waved at him, but he didn't respond, so Yours Truly thought that i had waved at the wrong person and was totally embarassed. I kind of ran away.

Only realise that it's him when i got nearer.


A bouquet of roses. I was in that red and white stripe top with demin shorts when i went to meet the rest of them. Super underdressed.
