Some updates over the week that's worth mentioning.



Had dinner with the girls at a korean restaurant, Sarang. The food didn't really meet my expectations but the live band over there kind of made up for it. One thing they can definitely improve is their service. We wanted to dine at the alfresco area but was told that it was full. Left without a choice, we had to dine indoors. We were happily going through the menu and were left speechless when the staff said that BBQ is not allowed inside. Shouldn't she pre-empt us earlier?

Slightly pissed. Waitress got a little panic and managed to dig out some seats at the alfresco area. Magic does happen when people get pissed. Here comes the shocking part..... Wanted to order samgyupsal (pork belly) for BBQ but was told that it has already been sold out. The same goes for kimbap (sushi). Amazing. They didn't have enough to cater for the 7+ pm dinner crowd. Moreover, they don't serve side dishes like every other korean restaurant. Even the vegetables that comes with the BBQ is somewhat pathetic. This restaurant is going for the idea of "mini". Luckily this place has a live band that makes up for what they are lacking.

Conclusion, I will only visit this place again if "Damon Salvatore" is the singer.

Blue Mountain was the hero of the evening where we had drinks without any shocks. It saved the evening.

Had a crazy Saturday. Didn't know that I could do so many things in a day. Met the girls to discuss our trip and then Gaston came over to meet me so we can get presents together. Got the presents and off we went for the birthday party.

My birthday is coming soon in a few months' time. ZzzZzzz... Ageing phobia.
