4e1{11:57 PM}

4e1!!! Say hello!!!

It's been a really long time since we last met up.

Ze Ting, the girl that sat in front of me during secondary 4 and made our "class train", Zhang Jie, the one who is very good in A-Maths. Chee Min, my class monitor since secondary 1, Yi Xiong the super loud amplifier. Leo, the boy with the super loose pants who copied my chinese tests, Jian Hao, the sleepy boy who taught me chemistry in the morning before assembly when o-levels were near. We have all grown. Old. Girls to ladies, boys to men.

I think there isn't much change in any one of us. Still as crazy as ever, still the same laughter. If only we can remain in those times. I get very nostalgic when it comes to my secondary memories, it's the best period in my life. No worries, carefree life. Quite different compared to my JC life. Perhaps it's because of my teacher, Mdm Ching who taught me A-maths and E-maths. She was the teacher that had a close bond with our class, the one that cried with me when i did badly for my maths prelims. I still remember that scene vividly; out the staff office. It's as if she understands how i feel. A teacher with passion=Mdm Ching.

The ones from 2e4. I think there 8 of us from 2e4 who proceeded to 4e1, which offers triple science and double maths. That combination is a killer to me, i barely scrape through physics and everyone in my school knows it. It's amazing when i received my 16th birthday card with three-quarters of the wishes written "Good luck to your physics! I hope you pass!". I can only remember force= mass X acceleration now.

Yi Xiong, he studied physics one day before O-levels and still got quite a reasonable grade for it. Why uh? Haha. Are you going to ask about Ze Ting? She scores for all her subjects. Now you wonder why am i friends with them.

Look at our smiles. Simply happy.

Dinner was at Din Tai Fung. Excellent service. They called me when the tables were ready.

We walked quite a bit after dinner, in search of a place to chill. From the second storey of balcony bar, to tcc, around the stretch of acid bar and back to first storey of balcony bar. We practically walked a whole big round back to the place we were before.

The guys deciding what drinks to get. I have no idea what Yi Xiong is trying to convey. haha. A swollen tongue?

The ginger ale that Yi Xiong had gotten tasted like the ginger tea i drink at home. Dilution! hoho.

Leo had 3 pints of beer, in 2 hours. Another picture of swollen tongue.

The picture with Yi Xiong and Chee Min started a commotion, one that they always tease me back in secondary school. I'm not going to say it.

Busted! A super red lobster! Muahaha.

We went prawning after the drinks. By the way, it was Leo's ORD day. He is free from national slavery. Not really slavery though, the army sent him to New Zealand for attachment, whereas the rest of my friends got attached to countries such as Brunei, Thailand, Taiwan, etc. He gets to enjoy the beef and beer over there. How cool uh?

Prawning was next on the list.

2 rods for the 6 of us. We were not really trying to catch prawns though, it's more of a catching up session. We spilled some secrets that happened in secondary school. Yi Xiong still owes us one. We will pester him the next time we see him.

I caught the first 2 prawns! Splendid!

It was fruitful for us, apart from Zhang Jie. He wanted to catch a shark instead of prawns. Prawns are afraid of the shark that he wants to catch, thus, no prawns want to eat his bait. Leo was the one taking out the hook from the prawns. He sacrificed himself. I think 5 beers and chain smoking beside me pumped up his courage to remove the hook from the live and jumpy prawns.

I think she caught 2 prawns.

Leo was trying to teach me how to pull back the rod really fast. I missed a few catches and he said "Pull faster lah, you want to wait until tomorrow is it!" and i pulled faster which resulted in an empty catch. For that he said "Pull so fast for what!" Thus, i asked him for a demostration. His bait got stuck on the ceiling!!! LOL. How often do you get that?

The claws of the prawns. Leo plucked them off in 2 seconds. Really fast.

I think it's 2am and amazingly, we still look good. Not with bloodshot eyes.

The catch! 9 prawns. We were there to chill. =)

They were steamed for dinner.

We had prata for supper at 4am. I was really drained at that time, awake for 22 hours, considering that i am someone that needs 14 hours of sleep a day. Haha.

Leo introduced us "plaster prata", the egg is on the outside, without the egg yolk. Eggyolks will make him fat. haha. He has got muscles now, can't afford to ruin them.

Oh well, home sweet home after supper. Awaiting for another gathering!

Signing off. VeE
